Maldon Sea Salt is a completely natural and unadulterated product. It is exclusively produced here in the UK by the Maldon Crystal Salt Co. Ltd and is available in a 1.4kg PET foodservice pail.
It is produced by the fractional crystallisation of purified sea water which has first been concentrated by boiling in metal pans and then cooled under carefully controlled conditions thereby retaining valuable sea water trace elements.
It is free from harmful contamination and complies with all the requirements of the Codex Alimentarius and current UK legislation concerning foodstuffs.
